Ghosts at the Stardust Motel, Wallace, ID

I was asked to go do an overnight investigation with fellow paranormal investigators Scott Mercer, Eric Crabtree [Spookan Spirit Seekers}, Becki Marks [ S.L.A.S.H.} and the Psychic Medium Jennifer Von Behren at the Stardust Motel, in the historic mining town of Wallace, ID, founded in 1884.

To try to find out what ghosts still may call Wallace and it's buildings home, you have to research the history.

Wallace was known for it's silver mining and many brothels, so the town was home to many single miners, loggers, cowboys and prostitutes.

Each hotel and building in Wallace seem to have a ghost of a miner or a prostitute, who decided to stay. {Check out our post about the Ryan Hotel and the Jameson Inn as well}

Stardust Motel was built in two parts; the west side in 1959 and the east side in 1961.

In 2022 KimBerly Keyton and partners took over the ownership of the Stardust Motel and she has done a wonderful job fixing up the place, so much so, that even the ghosts seem to like it there.

Psychic Medium Jennifer Von Behren saw several female and male ghosts at the motel, who seem to respect the privacy of those who stay there , but do interact with some of the motel staff.

 The fun and phantom parties seem to continue in the after life, regardless of how one passes.

One of the female ghosts at the Stardust is a prostitute called Nancy. She was super friendly, with a great sense of humor. She worked at the crib next to the Oasis Bordello Museum and still hangs out with some of the girls from there.

She likes to come to the Stardust Motel, where it's quieter, to watch TV. She used the flashlight, to communicate with us.

There are 2 male ghosts as well, who seem to like to turn the TV on and off, to show the staff they are around. One of them even took down a picture on the wall and moved the pillows to get the staff members attention. He also seems to have an opinion about what the staff listens to on YouTube.

Psychic Medium Jennifer Von Behren saw 5 other female spirits at the motel, one of which was named Lucy and who was connected to the house, that was at this location before the motel was built.

In the area, that is off limits to customers, Jennifer saw another female spirit and a child and another male spirit.

 We also came across a very friendly, flirty and funny 19 year old male spirit, who's name was Jacob and who was a miner.

He had passed away in a mining accident, which was very common in those days. He was eager and an expert in using the flashlight to communicate with us . He likes to hang out with "girls" from the brothels and visits them often.

Jennifer also saw another male spirit, who's name was James. He liked to use the equipment to communicate with us.

Our voice recorder picked up someone speaking Spanish, so I returned to the motel to do 2 sessions in Spanish and got responses in Spanish, what seemed to be 2 male spirits.

Psychic Medium Jennifer Von Behren also returned to the motel at a later date and said that Dolores, who was one of the bordello madams, had showed up to say hello.

Ghosts do roam, so they are not always in the same place.

 We got several voice responses at the motel in different areas and lot of interaction with several pieces of equipment.

Stardust Motel is a comfortable and great place to stay with friendly and helpful staff and is close to all attractions ,shops and restaurants. It has 42 rooms to choose from and a convenient keyless entry. When in town ,do check it out.
